Unable to Scan QR Codes
If you’re unable to scan a QR code from your photo gallery, there could be a couple of reasons:
1. The QR image file is too large – currently, only images 2MB or smaller are supported.
2. Your phone’s operating system may not be supported – KAF Digital Bank app is only supported on devices running Android/iOS N-2 and above. If your phone’s OS version is older, some features like QR scanning may not work as expected.
3. The merchant's DuitNow QR is an older version that we do not support - KAF Digital Bank only accepts the latest version of DuitNow QR codes.
What you can do:
• Try taking a new screenshot or photo of the QR code to reduce the image size.
• Ensure your device is using a supported OS version.
• Alternatively, scan the QR code directly using your phone’s camera through the app.
