How To Upgrade Account Step By Step
KAF Digital Bank offers a seamless account upgrade process to elevate your banking experience. Upgrading your account from Basic Plus Savings Account-i to Premium Savings Account-i is a voluntary process initiated by the customer. This transition unlocks a new realm of benefits and privileges tailored to meet your financial needs.
Here's a step-by-step guide to upgrading your account through the KAF Digital Bank mobile application:
Notification Methods
You can be directed to the "My Tier" interface through various notification methods, including secure in-app messages, email deep links, push notifications, or in-app marketing banners.
Upgrade Steps by Self-Exploration
- Launch App and Login: Open the application and log in using biometric authentication (fingerprint or face ID).
- Navigate to My Tier: Go to the three-line Menu icon at the bottom of the App Dashboard.
- Select My Tier: Choose the "My Tier" option from the menu.
- Identify Current Tier: Determine your current Tier by tapping on the "Basic Plus" or "Premium" tab. At this point, your account is a Basic Plus Savings Account-i.
- Check Upgrade Eligibility: If the "Upgrade Now" button is clickable, you are eligible to upgrade your tier to the next level. You can also find the "Premium" tab to observe its features and benefits, along with the "How To Upgrade" steps.
- Initiate Upgrade: Tap on the "Upgrade Now" button at the bottom of the screen.

Provide Documents: Upload the necessary documents. For upgrading from Basic Plus to Premium, you will need to provide:
- Latest 3 months of bank statements.

You may also provide ONE of the following instead:
- Payslip
- EA Form (employment income summary)
- Monthly Commission statement
- EPF Statement
- Submit: Tap the "Submit" button.
- Acknowledgement Page: A "Success!" page with a tick symbol will appear.
- Return to My Tier Interface: Tap "Done" to return to the My Tier interface.
- Verification Process: Relax while KAF Digital Bank verifies your information and uploaded documents. The status (Approved or Rejected) will be communicated through an email notification.
All successful applications will be upgraded to the respective tiers , while unsuccessful applications will remain in the same tier. The upgrade process is streamlined for your convenience
