SecureKAF: Your Enhanced Security for Smoother, Safer Online Transactions

SecureKAF is KAF Digital Bank’s in-app security feature that helps protect your account from unauthorised transactions. It works by sending you a simple Approve or Reject request in the KAF DB app whenever a transaction or sensitive action requires verification. This ensures only you can authorise activities performed on your account.

 

SecureKAF is used for selected transactions such as transfers, including DuitNow, online card payments, and certain account or card actions. Requests are shown one at a time so you can review the details clearly before making a decision.

 

What SecureKAF Looks Like

How do I approve a transaction using SecureKAF?

  1. When a transaction is initiated, a push notification will be sent to your device.
  2. Tap the notification, and you will automatically be directed to the SecureKAF page in the KAF DB app.
  3. Review the transaction details and tap Approve or Reject.
  4. You will then return to the merchant’s page to confirm whether the transaction was approved or rejected via SecureKAF.

 

Note: SecureKAF requests must be approved or rejected within 4 minutes. If no action is taken, the request will expire and the transaction will not be processed.

 

Why don’t some transactions go through SecureKAF?

SecureKAF is only triggered when supported by the merchant. Some merchants, particularly overseas merchants, do not support 3D Secure authentication.

For your protection, KAF Digital Bank does not allow overseas non-3D Secure transactions. As a result, overseas transactions that do not trigger SecureKAF may be declined.

 

What should I do if I receive a SecureKAF request I don’t recognise?

Reject the request immediately and contact Customer Support through the app, as this may indicate unauthorised activity.
