In the fast-paced world of digital banking, we actually start off before you access your account for the first time.
We ensure that every step of your application process in KAF Digital Bank (KAF DB) mobile application is clear, straightforward, and tailored to your needs. From the initial signup page to the final identity verification, here's how we guide you through the process with care and attention to detail.
Our Early Sweet Reminder
- Pre-Signup Page:
Collects your email, verifies it with a captcha (human verification), and asks for your nationality.
- Application ID:
Generated after entering email and captcha (human verification), linked to a temporary username on the Personal Details page.
- Validation Process:
Validates applications with email on the Email Page and NRIC/Passport on the Personal Details Page for existing users.
- Restrictions for New Clients:
Prevents new clients from using an email or NRIC/Passport number that's already in progress or activated.
- Nationality Requirement:
Currently, the application is only available for Malaysian citizens on the initial release.
- Application Exclusion:
If you're not a Malaysian citizen, your application won't proceed at this time.
Embark on Your Digital Banking Journey
- Access the Pre-login Page:
On the Pre-login page, tap on "New Application" to initiate your registration.
- Email and Captcha (human verification):
Enter your email address and correctly input the captcha (human verification).
- Nationality and Residency:
Tap "Continue" and proceed to select your nationality and residency.
- Guide Content:
Read the Guide Content provided and tap "Continue" to move forward.
- Personal Details:
Fill in personal details, including your name (as per NRIC), nickname, date of birth, mobile number, and NRIC number (Step 1 Step 2 in the Tell Us About).
- Temporary Credentials (Temporary Login Information):
Receive temporary username and password sent to your registered email. A pop-up in the app also notifies you.
- Contact Details:
Fill in your address details on the Contact Details page and tap "Continue" (Step 2 in the Tells Us About).
- Mailing Address Confirmation:
If your mailing address differs, provide the details and tap "Continue".
- Monthly Income:
Use the slider to indicate your monthly income.
- Occupation Information:
Tell us about your current occupation, nature of occupation, occupation industry, name of your current employer, purpose of opening account as well as source of funds. You may use the dropdown menu to find the related choice of yours.
- Agreement Page:
Read, understand, and agree with the Terms & Conditions, Personal Data Protection Act, and Product Terms & Conditions on the Agreement page.
- Confirmation:
Tap "Continue" after ensuring all agreements are read and green.
- Acknowledgement:
View the Acknowledgement screen indicating the success or failure of your action.
- Proceed with Confidence:
Tap "Sure, Continue" to move forward.
- Identity Verification:
Relax as your identity is verified. A ‘Thank You’ Acknowledgement screen will appear once completed. Tap "Back to Home Screen".
- E-KYC Status Notification:
If successful, a username and activation code will be sent to your email.
- Review or Retry:
If e-KYC (online identity verification) verification fails, a rejection email is sent. If under review, await further updates.
Eligibility for Seamless Flow
- Email with '@' and '.com'.
- Correct captcha (human verification) and email input.
- Full name without numbers or special characters.
- Nickname free from numbers, special characters, or spaces.
- Valid 12-digit NRIC.
- No duplicate applications allowed.
- Agreement acknowledgment through reading.
