Whether you choose the Basic Plus Savings-i Account or upgrade to the Premium Savings-i Account, you are guaranteed a top-notch banking experience. Our tiered structure ensures that as your financial landscape expands, so does the depth of information available to you.
Here's an overview of the tier levels, the information required for each account type, and their distinct features and limits:
Tier Levels
- Basic Plus Savings-i Account: This tier is activated upon successful completion of the onboarding process, which includes submitting your sign-up application, account activation, and making an initial deposit.
- Premium Savings-i Account: This tier requires the submission of additional documents.
Information Required for Each Tier
Basic Plus Savings-i Account: When starting your journey with KAF Digital Bank, the "Basic Plus" tier lays the foundation for your personal information. You will need to provide the following details:
- Email address
- Full name
- MYKad / Passport number
- Residential & Mailing Address (full address including postcode, city, state, and country)
- Date of Birth
- Nationality
- Contact Number (mobile number)
- Monthly income level
- Occupation details (current occupation, occupation industry, name of employer)
- Purpose of opening an account
- Source of funds
- Successful initial deposit: A minimum deposit of RM10, transferred from your own bank account from another non-digital, non-wallet, and non-overseas bank.
Premium Savings Account-i: To upgrade to the Premium tier, you will need to provide supporting documents. This tier involves exploring and refining supporting documents to help mainstream your financial growth.
- Latest 3 months of bank statements.

- Payslip
- Remuneration Statement for Private Employees / EA Form (employment income summary)
- Monthly commission statement
- Employee Provident Fund (EPF) statement
Distinctions by Tier

The debit limit includes total spending, debit card-i transactions, and transfers, such as intrabank transfers (KAF DB to KAF DB), DuitNow ID transfer, DuitNow QR Person-to-Person (P2P), DuitNow QR to merchant, DuitNow Intrabank Transfers, DuitNow Transfers (via account number or ID like mobile number, NRIC, passport number, business registration number, and army/police identification number), and VISA debit card (virtual or physical) transactions (card present & card not present).
My Profile (Profile Settings)
Some information can be edited after account activation, while certain documents become non-editable after upgrading to the Premium tier.
Editable information after account activation:
- Profile details (Full name, nickname, date of birth, nationality, identification type, NRIC number/passport number)
- Contact details (email address and mobile number)
- Address details (Full address including postcode, city, state, and country)
- Occupation details (monthly income, current occupation, occupation industry, employer name, purpose of opening account, source of funds)
Non-editable documents after the account is successfully upgraded to Premium:
- Payslip
- Remuneration Statement for Private Employees / EA form (employment income summary)
- Monthly commission statement
- Employee Provident Fund (EPF) statement
- Latest 3-month bank statement
