You can now enjoy effortless transactions and money transfers with just a few taps on your smartphone within your KAF Digital Bank (KAF DB) app by walking you through the simple steps to register for QR Pay, ensuring that you can start using this hassle-free.

What is DuitNow QR? 

DuitNow QR is Malaysia's official National Standard Quick Response (QR) system. Developed by PayNet in collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) as part of the Inter-operable Credit Transfer Framework (ICTF) - The framework used for credit transfers across different systems. 

You can now use DuitNow's QR feature to make quick and easy payments from the KAF Digital Bank app.

Through the “Transfer” Menu: 

1. Launching the Application and Biometric Log In:

• Open the mobile application on your device.
• Upon launching, the application will prompt you to log in. To access your account securely, use the configured biometric authentication method (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition).

2. Navigating to the “Transfer” Menu:

• Once successfully logged in, you will be directed to the Home Screen or Account Dashboard.
• Locate and click on the "Transfer" menu option, which is typically located within the main navigation of the Home Screen.

3. Entering Your Secure PIN:

• After selecting the "Transfer" menu, the application will require an additional layer of security verification.
• Enter your designated Secure PIN when prompted.

4. Choosing “DuitNow QR”:

• You will be presented with various transfer options on the "Choose Transfer Method" screen.
• Select "DuitNow QR" from the available choices.

5. Activating “QR Pay”:

• You will now be directed to the "QR Pay Registration" screen.
• Click on the "Activate" button to initiate the activation process for the QR Pay feature.

6. Selecting “Paying & Receiving Account”:

• The application will require you to designate your primary account to initiate and receive DuitNow QR payments.
• Determine and select your preferred “Paying and Receiving Account”. Please note that this is typically limited to one account per individual.

7. Confirmation of Successful Setup:

• After you complete the previous steps, the application will confirm that the QR Payment feature is successfully activated and linked to your selected account.
• You are now set to use the QR Payment feature.

From “QR Pay” on the dashboard account: 

1. Launch Application and Biometric Log In:

• Open the mobile application on your device.

2. Click "QR Pay" at the Bottom of Your Dashboard:

• After clicking "QR Pay," the application will require an additional layer of security verification.
• Enter your designated Secure PIN when prompted.

4. Activating “QR Pay”:

• You will now be directed to the "QR Pay Registration" screen.
• Click on the "Activate" button to initiate the activation process for the QR Pay feature.

5. Selecting “Paying & Receiving Account”:

• The application will require you to designate your primary account to initiate and receive QR Pay payments.
• Determine and select your preferred “Paying and Receiving Account”. Please note that this is typically limited to one account per individual.

6. Continue to Register:

• After selecting your "Paying and Receiving Account," click the "Continue" button to finalise the registration process.

7. Confirmation of Successful Setup:

• After you complete the previous steps, the application will confirm that the QR Payment feature is successfully activated and linked to your selected account.
• The QR Payment feature is now ready for your use.
